[It takes Bertholdt a while to get the keyboard of his phone, what with his big fingers and him not really knowing how to type in the first place. Luckily, he's one of the few in his world that can read and write.]
[ It took Inaba a while to look over some of the network posts to figure out who had the most information about the afterlife here, and then she found something rather recent. She didn't comment on it, because she knew that she would make herself look pretty bad as a first impression, especially since Taichi ended up calling her by first name. Which is something she's rather sure about and it disturbs her greatly.
Not that she's going to say anything about it yet, because there's a lot more important things to deal with.
But, nevertheless, she'll shoot a text message. It's not that hard to do that, at least, especially when the convenience of having everyone listed under contacts is there. ]
I heard that you're one of the people who have been in the afterlife the longest. Can you tell me anything about this "atomic restructuring"?
[ Since it seems important to her and can be rather useful in the future. More information means more power to her, after all. And that's something that she needs, regardless of how long or short she's been in the afterlife.
[Remember how Yata said he'd figure out that watch thing in case he ever got caught by those shadows? Well, that happened. It took a little while—the only experience he really had with taking things apart or putting them back together was with his skateboard, so on top of the atomic restructuring thing, this was definitely a learning experience. Still, with so much time on his hands here, it wasn't a problem to figure out! He's definitely done tougher things before.
Anyway! He doesn't try to deliver it personally (he's such a wimp), but he will leave it in the mailbox of the house Yuri's been staying in with a simple note attached:
for yurippe -from yata
If she were to investigate it, she'd find that it functions like a normal watch, even though it probably looks a little fancier than that. Whatever, it's close enough, he thinks it should still get the job done if anything happens.]
