Does anyone know any magic that can make it so that someone's bored no matter what they do, even things that they used to get a good laugh out of? Is there a way that someone without magic could do that to someone with magic?

I've been trying to think of the worst possible punishment game I can for someone and the kind of person this would be for. It took a while to decide on, but I think something like this might be it.

I tend to be pretty forgiving when it comes to violence if the person can improve.

Even so; is it not better to prevent said violence before it can come to pass? Prior warnings being the simplest foreknowledge.
