RL with Ange;

[ It'd been a little longer than she'd wanted to wait for this, but she knew that she and Ange both were pretty close to Steve. He had a lot of friends, but Yuri wasn't close enough to most of them to really worry about inviting them over to just.. well, talk. Make sure they were okay. At the very least, she could do that with Ange. She would've gone over to Ange's world, but that would've run the risk of any of the other people from Rokkenjima on the community coming and bothering them.

Not that she'd even told Ange too far in advance that she was coming over. A quick private message via the comm that she was coming for her was all the notice Ange would get before Yuri would arrive and worldhop (now that she'd managed to fix it, anyway) her over to the afterlife. ]

But sure, sure, she walks further towards the trees to go look for some decently sized branches instead of just mere twigs - not that they need a huge fire, but still, having it being super tiny would be no good either, right? ]

Yuri ends up just clearing up a nearby spot and then putting rocks in a circle so the fire won't get out of their little pit.

[ A little while later Ange returns, her arms full of twigs and branches, which she then proceeds to dump on the spot that Yuri was working on, since it's pretty obvious where she wanted the fire to be. ]

[ She straightens up, dusting her hands off, then points at the wood. ]

You're a witch right? So light it on fire.

[ MAGIC CAN DO THAT RIGHT?? yuri's hoping. ]

[ THAT'S NOT HOW MAGIC WORKS, YURI.. at least, not ange's. ]

Sure, let me clap my hands twice. [ a pause, but then she sighs. ] Don't confuse my tricks with Battler onii-chan's, okay?

[ YURI WANTS IT TO WORK THIS WAY OKOK. ]

I could always just call him over here, make him light it, then tell him to get out. What kind of magic can you do, anyway?

Don't people usually rub twigs against each other for this? Can't be that much more effort. [ but if you do it you might accidentally set the forest on fire, ange.. ]

And.. it's a little bit more complicated with me than with Battler onii-chan, but I guess it suffices to say I'm just not as strong as he is, even though I've inherited practically the same title. I can mostly just summon demons.

[ While Ange continues talking, Yuri goes and gets out a gun. Yes, she's going to shoot the twigs and hope it catches fire. ] So you're like a demon summoner! [ SHOOTS THE FIRE PIT >8| ]

[ ... YURI WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Ange just stares though, it's probably for the best to not disturb Yuri with a gun in the middle of one of her ~brilliant~ ideas.. if it doesn't work, they can just try it her way, either way. ]

Sort of. Did onii-chan ever mention those 'ass nee-chans' he keeps talking about in general to you? Those are the ones I usually summon.

[ It doesn't work. Because shooting things isn't always the solution. Yuri looks minorly annoyed by this. Mostly because she forgot to bring a flamethrower matches. ]

Okay, you try the sticks and I'll sit here seeing if I can't make something to help and show you my version of magic! [ Even though it's not actually magic.. it's just atomic restructuring okay she's gonna try to make a match. ]

Once or twice or twenty times, yeah. [ Not mildly annoyed at all. ]

[ ange just shakes her head before trying to imitate what she's heard people talking about before, even if she's not sure entirely how to do it.. something about rubbing the sticks together, right? she's squatting on the ground by now to try it. ]

.. Don't worry, they're only interested in piercing people. [ noticing it and trying to make it okay again, okay. even if she knows asmo is interested in more, but, you know.. ]

Valentine's Day chocolates didn't sound like it.

[ Just over here playing in the dirt now okay, pouring some bottled water onto it and picking some up. A second later her voice takes on a sing-song tone. ]

They don't stand a chance~ I beat out Beatrice. If I can beat out his future that I was told was set in stone, I'm not worried about a couple of "ass nee-chans." Worrying is probably only going to come once he wins those games and has a future again. Then I might have to worry about other girls so with any luck, he'll get moving on it and kick some bad-witchy ass.

[ Yuri's kind of trying to shave a smooth edge onto this mud that she's squishing together with a knife she pulled out now. ]

Hey, I got Valentine's Day chocolates from at least one of them before too.

[ Rubbing the sticks against each other harder now.. isn't this supposed to make smoke? Maybe she should add some dry grass. ]

[ VOILA HERE'S A FREAKING MATCH. ] Got it!

Great, then we can stop having unnecessary Valentine's Day talk and instead get this fire going.

Yuri moves over to the twigs and starts the match on a rock, then lights the edges of a couple of the sticks before tossing the match in the middle. ]

[ There we go, at least we can have a normal fire now. Ange lets out a slight sigh - maybe out of relief, maybe.. something else, who knows. Probably just Ange being Ange. ]

There we go. I thought we'd never get to see fire at this rate.

You might have to learn how to summon fire if we do this again, Ange.

[ Or get Yuri to use her foresight to think about bringing matches and a Duralog in the first place. ]
