Does anyone know any magic that can make it so that someone's bored no matter what they do, even things that they used to get a good laugh out of? Is there a way that someone without magic could do that to someone with magic?

I've been trying to think of the worst possible punishment game I can for someone and the kind of person this would be for. It took a while to decide on, but I think something like this might be it.

[ You know, now that she knows Ange is alive and she doesn't have to worry about respecting any wishes like Ange always getting mad at her for doing stupid shit or putting herself in danger. ]

If everything became equally boring for that person, then boredom would cease to be a factor in her decisions. Unless you dull all her other emotions, she would come for you as a matter of hatred and revenge.

I am simply wary of potentially tipping unstable people with considerable power over the edge.

She's already so far past the edge she's hit the bottom of a canyon. I just want her to stop laughing when other people fall splat next to her.

In such a situation, the best course of action would be to remove her power or ability to act, not potentially aggravate her further.

Claiming she can do nothing to you is blind and arrogant. People can always find ways to hurt people; especially when they have power, especially when they're mentally unstable. If being dead makes you as functionally immortal as she is, could she not simply bring the same trick down upon you? If she's as powerful as you describe, she could easily do worse. Or the same to those you care about. Or the same to anyone in the general vicinity who happened to be in the wrong place.

If you are serious about this, this is not the time for underestimation.

I've heard it before, Battler. That's why I'm try a new tactic instead of going in guns blazing. I can't hut her, but maybe I can make everything really suck for a while.

She goes about hurting the people I care about whether I do anything or not. There's a difference between picking fights and trying to find a single way to fight back. I don't think that she'll do absolutely nothing but at this point, the people I care about most that are still in this world are getting hurt already. All she cares about is not being bored, so if she can't get enjoyment out of that then that's what matters.

For one thing, try leaving out the putting anyone in their proper place. Anger's good to inspire people, but if they've got something that unites them besides hatred that's a lot more important. Something that everyone can share that binds them together and makes them care about each other. Peace and harmony are just words if you don't have something you want to fight to get those for. What unites people is a lot more powerful than what they're united for.

Oh, and don't tell people that it's their cage and they should break it, it sounds like you're blaming them for their own misery and that's a way to drive people away from you.

This is not a matter of picking fights; if she is as you say then of course she must be stopped, but this will not stop her. It will make things worse.

Remove her abilities, remove her immorality or simply destroy her completely. Anything else is counter-productive.

Apparently none of that's remotely possible and even Battler can't do it when his magic is supposed to be endless. Anyway, this is more a punishment game than a declaration of war and I think she'd definitely understand that.

Not usually, but when it's on her level it's about the only thing I can try to do. Normally I'd stick to physical stuff. I don't care if it's temporary, though, as long as it's long enough that she suffers from it.

This is the same woman who threatened to string me up in a bridal suite after my boyfriend nearly was forced to marry a crazy person to make me watch and the only reason I didn't end up like that was because he got out of it somehow, so my goodwill toward her is basically 0 after watching Ange get turned into Sloppy Joes for a second time.

That's actually the advice I was given when I first met her. Be careful and avoid her if at all possible.
