PM to Battler > RL with Battler

[tenminutes]

[ It was done. Everything was done, and she didn't... feel it anymore. That horrid pain. They'd forgiven her, told her she hadn't needed to fight anymore. And now.. now.. She couldn't stop crying. Everything seemed like it was okay and she couldn't stop the tears from flowing and finally letting herself just feel.

Almost as if on queue, one of the broken screens flickered a bit and popped up with the community. It didn't record her, it didn't do anything. It was just there in case she needed it, or that's what it seemed like. Yuri crawled over to the screen, wiping a few tears from her eyes and trying to take a deep breath as she pulled up the private message function to reach Battler. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself enough for a voice message to him, but her voice was still weak. It was too obvious that she was crying and couldn't stop. Even her breathing wasn't steady. ]

Battler, j-just come. No-- [ She fought back a sob. This was probably pretty pathetic, but since it was him.. she didn't really care if he knew that she needed him right now. ] Now!

[ That was it. She just had to hope that he wasn't too busy to come just.. hold her. The voice message clicked off and she buried her face in her hands. ]

[ Yuri knew she wasn't saying it right. She didn't know how to tell him that all that sorrow, it was just.. flowing out of her. It didn't.. hurt. Anymore. She shook her head quickly. ]

I-It doesn't-- it doesn't hurt, Battler. It's gone, I--

[ Yuri let go of him, wiping her eye even as she was still crying, but she managed to smile. Even with tear pouring from those bright green eye of her, it wasn't pain in them. That smile seemed, for once, despite the desolate and destroyed scenery around them, to not be carrying the weight of three other people. ]

I-I'm okay, Battler, I just.. I can't stop crying-- [ Her smile stayed and she let out a little laugh. One of relief, then she leaned her forehead back against his chest. ] It doesn't.. hurt... [ Yuri was obviously exhausted. She was still awake, still conscious, but she was staying still now against Battler's body. ]

[That's good, she's found her peace in this world- he's so happy for her and yet at the same time... rather worried. Will this mean she'll end up leaving him? Disappearing and just leaving him behind...? He wouldn't be angry if she did though, he would just be beyond lonely without her.

Still, he can't help but smile as well.]

I'm glad.... it's okay, just let it all out. It must feel like such a relief huh? To know you saved them and it's going to be okay?

I knew you could do it.

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri got quiet again, at least with her words. Soft sobs still fell from her lips as she cried into Battler's chest. Yuri honestly didn't know she could cry this much. It had hurt so badly, so constantly she hadn't known what it was like to actually feel like things would be okay. Even being dead didn't seem like it was that bad.

Yuri was out of words though. It seemed silly now, to call Battler here just to get his shirt all messy. Somehow Yuri didn't mind it though. Being able to call someone and have him drop everything.. She definitely wasn't alone. Not anymore. She didn't have to be. ]

I love you.

[And she would never be alone, he would make sure that she had everything she wanted and wasn't lonely or anything.]

I love you too, more than anything.

[He moved to kiss the top of her head, his lips linger there before pulling away.]

[ Yuri's arms wrapped around Battler more tightly and she buried her face in his chest, crying harder now. That's where she would stay until her body eventually gave out from exhaustion. ]

[...Did she pass out?

In any case, Battler simply holds her for a bit more, waiting for some time before he finally gathers her up, picking her up bridal style and he's just going to move out and go to that hospital to set her down somewhere.]
