RL with Battler

[ After a couple of conversations, Yuri had been thinking about a couple of things. Definitely nowhere near what Shooter had brought up with her, but.. after that conversation on top of what Steve had mentioned, she was more than trying to think about it. Even if no one knew anything was going on besides Steve and Ange, she still wanted to know.

So, you know, naturally that means worldhopping over without a heads up and peeking around until she found Battler. ]

[He's outside, sitting at the gazebo and reading a book actually. He still has his cape on, and when Yuri finds him he'll have the book open in his hands, moving to set it down on the table in front of him before stretching a little.

It's nice to be out here, out of the rain but enjoying the cool air in purgatory. He still hasn't spotted her yet though.]

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri doesn't spot him for a while, not until she sees a flash of red hair from a window. Oh great make Yuri have to walk through the damn place without an umbrella. With a brief sigh, Yuri rests her forehead against her palm for a moment before heading outside.

She had originally planned to try to sneak up on him, but on account of the weather she would just be dripping and obvious in terms of noise. Instead, Yuri throws something at him from the bottom of the small gazebo steps. It's one of the packaged breads from her world. ]

[WOW SO SORRY?? he didn't expect her.

Suddenly something hits his head. He's startled at that, but then he just.... picks up the bread. He looks over and-...]

...I should have known.

I mean, who else would throw bread at me?

[tenminutes]

Who wouldn't throw bread at you? It should be an olympic sport. [ Coming up into your gazebo now, thanks. With her back turned to him while she tries to ring out her shirt fucking rain and white shirts. ]

[ GOD it's so weird when he does stuff like that. To her at least. Going from soaking to dry in the literal snapping of fingers is an odd sensation, so have her looking surprised for a second before straightening the front of her shirt and turning to face him. ]

Sometimes you are! But I didn't come here to tell you how much you deserve to be pelted with food.

[So sorry, he's used to just using magic like that.]

[ Yuri moves over to take a seat across from him, oddly serious. ]

We need to talk, Battler.

...Okay, I'm listening.

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri lets the rain be the only sound for a few moments before she speaks again. Quietly. It sounds really really serious. ]

I've been having some questions and doubts. About us.

[ About what their actual relationship is, actually, but it sounds more like she's getting ready to dump his ass... ]

And I was talking to Steve and he was the one who made me realize it even moreso..

We've never gone on a real date, we're not technically dating are we? Like boyfriend and girlfriend..

She almost started yelling at him until she heard him say the breaking up part. Instead she just looked at him like he was the one being stupid. ]

Anyway, are you sure there isn't another word we can use? "Boyfriend" just sounds..

[ A little exhilarating? She gets a little excited just thinking about it, even if she doesn't know why. It's just a word and it doesn't change how they'd feel.. but it's still embarrassing somehow. ]

Because I almost said it to Steve because we end up talking about weird things because he thought we were going to "fondue" on my birthday, whatever that means. I figured I should ask.

he looks at her with an amused smirk.]

That's not the point! The point is he was thinking about it and told me I was the perverted one for thinking he almost said "fondle"! [ It's okay if they talk about it but if Steve thinks they're running off to go do that she has a problem with it! ]
