RL with Steve and Ange, forward dated to next Wednesday

[ After worldhopping Ange over to Steve's world, Yuri realized a flaw in her plan to originally ditch them so they could be alone: She didn't have a cell phone to claim someone was calling her. Maybe she could go off to get popcorn halfway through still... oh well.

Yuri sighs and adjusts her skirt. It's not her usual uniform, and despite that she had an officer's uniform that she got from Steve, she knew that Ange didn't have one so she wasn't going to make Ange be the odd one out and showed up in this outfit instead. It's got polkadots, close enough right? ]

[ Gdi Yuri. He starts politely and nervously explaining about seeing the movie with someone from out of town and the mom of the kid motions to leave him alone and

yeah they actually back off after everyone got a round shaking his hand because it's the 40s and a tiny crowd in a movie theater is nice.
but now the movie's over. :/

[ There, now the people are actually gone she can hiss at Yuri again while it's not completely inaudible anymore. ]

Yuri..! Now I missed how it ended! [ the movie, that is.. she got really caught up in it, okay.. ]

Give Steve his coat back and I'll trade clothes with you and we can change our hair and no one will be the wiser if we stay for a second showing.

[ Clearly the solution. ]

[ watches the theater clear out a little ] They're not showing it again for another six hours, Yuri...

[denies]

See? [ for a brief moment she almost looks childishly pouty, but then it's gone again. ]

... It's fine. I'll just live without knowing the end. Sorry for all the inconveniences, Steve.

[tenminutes]

Steve! [ She points at him. ] Go ask them to rewind it a bit.

[doyoufondue]

...What? You can't just ask them to rewind the film reel. [ can you? He's looking up towards where they are and debating that. He's not even sure he has time to do that. He's looking over at Ange then back up.

welll... ]

[denies]

.. Huh? [ for a moment she doesn't get what's going on, but then it slowly dawns on her. ]

Wait, you don't have to go and do that. It'd just be trouble and like I said, I'm fine.

[ well, she did want to see the end badly and all, but she's not the type to insist despite her usual blunt front. ]

[tenminutes]

Just go ask. It's not like it's that big of a deal. If you don't, I will and we know I'll end up saying something you'd prefer I didn't. [ SO THERE. ]

[ He pushed himself to his feet before Yuri said anything, looking up and taking a step forward-- then he completely paused and looked at Yuri. He rolled his eyes and started heading out of the theater to go ask the guy ]

You're a real pain in the ass sometimes, Yuri. Give me a minute.

[denies]

[ wait, why didn't anyone listen to what she said, sob.. Ange's just staring at Steve when he heads it out before glancing at Yuri after that. ]

... I said I was fine. [ 8( ]

[tenminutes]

[ Once Steve's gone, to go ask, she sighs. ]

That was easier than I thought it'd be. [ And Yuri's getting up now. ] I'm going to go back for a bit, enjoy the rest of the movie, okay? I'll come pick you up in like an hour. He's mad at me [ He cussed, it's obvious ] so it's better if you two finish up.

[ he's peeking his head out of that little spot next to the projector. HAHAHA ]

You're ditching us?

[denies]

Busted, Yuri.

[ that's all she says though, only softly since it's just meant for Yuri - rather awkward after all since the other girl was talking about Steve and then he actually could still hear, oops. ]

I like to think of it as "leaving you two in peace" for now.

Didn't you want to see how it ended? [ he's frowning ] I have to go soon.

[denies]

[ glances at Yuri.. and then Steve.. then back to Yuri.. ]

Come on, let's just quickly watch it then, okay?

[tenminutes]

Fine fine fine fine. [ Yuri sits back down in her seat. ]

[ And he's running back, totally jumped over a row or two of chairs to sit back in his seat and the movie's taking a second before going back on ]

I have five minutes before people come looking for me.

[denies]

[ At least Ange was still sitting to begin with.. ]

That's more than enough time. [ and now she's looking back to the screen since ssh, you guys, she's actually interested in this movie okay. ]

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri sits on her hands. It's a gesture of peace it really is, keeping her hands to herself. : | ]

[ Good good let's all behave while Movie!Steve stops the ...bomb or whatever ]

[ So badass, movie!Steve. But okay, fine, now the movie's ended for real without any interruptions so Ange's eyes can stop nearly being glued to the screen and look at them again instead. ]

... That was good. [ despite the deadpan, it at least sounds genuine. ] I liked it.

[tenminutes]

[ Getting off of her hands now. ]

[ Gives Ange a smile ] I'm glad you liked it. [ He's looking over at Yuri-- and picking a popcorn off her ] You're welcome. Glad we could do this.
