RL with Steve and Ange, forward dated to next Wednesday

[ After worldhopping Ange over to Steve's world, Yuri realized a flaw in her plan to originally ditch them so they could be alone: She didn't have a cell phone to claim someone was calling her. Maybe she could go off to get popcorn halfway through still... oh well.

Yuri sighs and adjusts her skirt. It's not her usual uniform, and despite that she had an officer's uniform that she got from Steve, she knew that Ange didn't have one so she wasn't going to make Ange be the odd one out and showed up in this outfit instead. It's got polkadots, close enough right? ]

[ Yuri and Ange my friiends. He's right next to them really quickly and giving them... a little bit of a look. Very nice outfits ladies but not exactly the fashion.

Don't question his fashion he's still wearing most of his costume and just threw a coat over it. Shhh. He didn't have enough time for his collared shirts ] Hey.

[ Yes, Ange is just wearing her usual outfit. It's not like she has anything else on Rokkenjima - after all, she never really came there, she's only there thanks to the community. And hopping over back to her own time wasn't really a choice with the risk of being caught by her aunt just for a single outfit. Short skirt and thigh highs clearly is 40s style now.

Then again, Steve, why are you still wearing your costume.. ]

Geez, you could've given us a later time if you wanted some time to change clothes. [ Yuri had a hand on her hip, both eyes closed, but she peeked one open. ] Or is this one of those movies that only shows once a day or something? I don't know how movie theaters work in this time.

[doyoufondue]

[ Steve looked down at himself and rubbed the back of his head ] Um. Yeah, I got a little busy earlier. [ filming a different movie. oops. ] This was the only time I was completely alone so. The theater kind of plays things in cycles. [ A shrug. He wanted to do Yuri and Ange things instead of changing :( ]

...Um. But you guys should probably- I'll buy you an outfit or something.

[denies]

[ Wait, did they come at a bad time.. the thought makes her feel sort of guilty, but she's trying to force the thought down. If he seriously has time now, and she and Yuri are here now either way.. ]

You don't have to. I mean-- it's just for a little bit, right? I didn't think anyone would really notice. [ Besides, buying it for them with Steve's money doesn't feel right.. Yuri, help her out here!! ]

[tenminutes]

I can hop back real fast and change into that uniform you gave me if you want. I just didn't want Ange to be the odd one out so I came dressed like this. [ She shrugs. ] We could always sneak in somewhere and get another uniform for you, Ange~

[ That would be fun for Yuri, actually. ]

Only for a little while but I just don't want anyone to get in trouble. [ glances at Yuri then looks to Ange then pulls off his coat and puts it over Ange's shoulders. There? That stands out a lot less. ]

Might take longer to get a uniform like that, Yuri. [ :| just let him buy you ladies a long skirt or something. the store is right there ]

[denies]

[ Isn't coat-borrowing supposed to be something really cheesy-- okay, no, this is just for practical uses only. Yes. Only that. ]

... Thanks. [ Properly saying thanks, good job keeping your head straight there, Ange. She doesn't say anything else though since she's fairly sure Yuri is better at bargaining than she is.. ]

Great! Ange is taken care of. Though really, if we're with Captain America can't I just say that I'm just a patriotic fashion model? No one questions fashion models, they don't wear clothes that look like they should be worn by anyone ever. Ange's uniform is covered up now, so there's no reason to make you spend your money. [ Hmhm~! It's the perfect explanation. Only not really. Ange should show Steve her fabulous Engrish, then their patriotic American act would be perfect, obv. ]

You're welcome. [ He gives Ange a little smile then makes a face at Yuri. ] You're not wearing anything patriotic to be a patriotic fashion model.

[denies]

[ Ange's Engrish is horrible, it would ruin Steve's faith in the ability for foreigners to learn Japanese forever.. ]

.. She could just pretend to be American without looking patriotic, right? [ glancing between the other two. ] Knowing Yuri, she could probably talk her way out of anything.

[tenminutes]

Just by standing next to you, everyone becomes about 200% more patriotic even if they're not from America, Steve.

[ Points at Ange. ] Let's go with what she said, you don't have two jackets and it's not recommended that you let me loose in a clothing store.

[doyoufondue]

Why is that not recommended? [ Raises an eyebrow at her. But Yuri that skirt... ] Fine. I don't think anyone would really notice in the theater.

[denies]

It's dark there either way, at least. [ But she can keep the coat for now, right.. ]

And we can always hope that if someone does notice, they don't make some huge trouble out of it.

[tenminutes]

I stole Angel's bikini once, why do you think?

[ She shrugs. Walking in a direction now. Not sure if it's the right direction, but it's a direction. ]

Even if they do, what's the worst that could happen? All three of us are capable of kicking some ass if anyone comes at any of us.

[ We're like a group of badasses in mini skirts with Captain America?! ]

Points taken. I'll just tell them you're a ....dancer. [ :| yuri where are you going.
Puts his hands on her shoulders and turns her around towards the theater. ] This way. [ He will lead the way now ] ..Ange, you're okay with my coat?

[denies]

I already feel sorry for the person who'd try to pick a fight with us.

[ She's right, all three of them can fight, really.. and even if they couldn't Steve is a meat shield in general if he stands in front of them. But Yuri the dancer, that's sort of a funny mental image-- oh, snapped back to reality when he's asked a question. ]

... Yeah, I'm fine like this. [ a nod as she follows them.. ] You're sure you don't need it right now, though?

[tenminutes]

A dancer? Like your showgirls?

[ Steve the meatshield...

Welp, turning around and walking ahead of Steve and Ange now HAS TO BE THE LEADER. ]

[doyoufondue]

[ meatshield... oh.

Gives Ange a smile and a nod. ] Not like anyone here hasn't already seen me in costume, right? You could hold on to that for now. [ And then.

yuri did you really just go ahead of us ] You know where you're going, right?

[denies]

[ IN A GOOD WAY.. ]

Yuri, please don't accidentally lead us into some weird place neither you nor me knows anything about. This isn't the time to get lost. [ tugging the coat a little more around her as she talks - it's big, so it's a little warm despite the fact she was already wearing her own jacket. ]

[tenminutes]

If I did lead you into a weird place, it'd only be because you're following me in the first place~ [ Mostly she's figuring she'll glance back at Steve every now and then to make sure he isn't turning a different way. 8) ]

[doyoufondue]

[ Steve's not going to stop her. She's going the right direction right now and he'll just stop walking and turn if she goes the wrong way. The theater wasn't exactly hard to miss so he just shrugs at Ange when Yuri reasoned that out. ] I'll let you know if she turns into somewhere 'weird.'

[denies]

[ Ange's about to semi-grumble or at least deadpan back at Yuri, but when Steve says it she nods. At least that means they won't go wrong and get lost, yeah. ]

Thanks. I'll be relying on you and our 'fearless leader' then.

I didn't know you had such little faith in me, Ange~ [ NOT THAT STEVE IS HELPING. But it's okay he's the navigator. ]
