[ Hey everyone! Steve got his experiment and it succeeded and he isn't dead! So, as promised, here is the little get together for Steve and the friends that he managed to list before Yuri got tired of him slowly adding everyone he's ever met. It's really nothing special, but Yuri managed to obtain a barbeque, different drinks are set up on a table (oddly, all either bottled or canned-- water, coffee, juice boxes, and a 12-pack of Cola because she promised Steve she'd get Cola). Make sure you put whatever food you're bringing on the table too, it's a potluck!

Shortly before the date of the party, everyone should've gotten a private message that it was today, even if they didn't read Yuri's two posts mentioning it. ]

If we do, you assaulted me in a fit of madness caused by eating Ange's cookies. [ She crosses her arms. That's that. Problem solved. ] But I don't think we will. There's a lot of leaves on the ground over here, we'll probably hear if someone comes...

[He smiles down at her and then snaps his fingers, that cape of his appearing. Over his regular clothes of course.]

Hm- if you laugh at me I really won't be in the mood anymore.

[ She's not laughing. There's a vaguely amused smile playing at her lips, but she's not laughing! ]

I'm not laughing. [ She is, however, trying to figure out how covering up in that cape is going to be remotely comfortable with them actually standing up... ]

[Don't worry Yuri, he gently pushes her back a bit, so she's against a tree now. He pulls up each side of his cape, holding the edges above his head so it's kind of like a tent now.]

Better?

[ Yuri looks up at him for the couple of seconds that they aren't being shaded by the cape. The tent thing is so weird.. She was worried about Battler being comfortable during this, but if he's fine holding it up the whole time, then.. ]

Better.

[ Yuri leans forward just a bit, away from the tree, to press a kiss to Battler's chin ]

[Battler smirks, feeling her lips against his skin. He leans down a bit more, his mouth pressing against hers now, and he makes a sound against her.]

[ Yuri makes soft sound in her throat as Battler takes her lips, but immediately quiets it. There is absolutely no room for making noise here. She puts a hand on Battler's sleeve and grips it instead. ]

[Oh right right, no sounds! Can't get caught here! He continues to kiss her, his arm that she grabbed moving, slipping around her body and pulling her closer. His other hand was holding up their little tent, of course.]

[ As she's pulled closer, Yuri closes her eyes finally (not like she could see much besides shimmers of light peeking through the threads of the cape anyway) and ends up on her tiptoes as she tries to deepen it. ]

[Battler's eyes had been closed for a while now, since it was hard to see anything anyways. He pulled away from her lips, taking a breath, and then went back in- this time parting his lips slightly, hopefully she'll get the hint this time.]

[ Since the last time, Yuri knows what that gesture means. She lightly nips at Battler's lower lip, then parts her own lips and moves her tongue out to meet his, tightening he grip on his sleep. ]

[Finally she gets it, he brings his tongue out to her and starts to play with it, sliding the muscle along hers. Too bad they had to keep quiet, he nearly made a sound of approval but then stopped himself.]

[ Yuri allows her grip on Battler's shirt to loosen, if only so that she an trail it down the side of his body to rest on his hip. Part of her was still considering making a punishment game out of this, but most of her just wanted to keep feeling his lips against her own. Warm, soft, wet. She let her hand slide up again, but back this time. Across his back, light touches crossing up to his shoulder blades. His tongue against hers felt hot and she drew back maybe an inch, just for a moment, a silent gasp passing her lips. Why did it seem like when she wasn't allowed to make a sound, she wanted to that much more? ]

[Battler was having a hard time keeping himself in control as well. He couldn't help it though, the way her lips felt against his own, her fingers sliding up his body and sending chills down his spine, all of it was breath taking. When she gasped, he took the opportunity to get a breath in as well, finding it difficult to even breathe properly. But then he dove in again, pressing his lips harder to hers, tongue slipping into her mouth and exploring it.]

[ Yuri's grip on the back of Battler's shirt tightened again when he dove in for the kiss, leaning back against the tree again and letting Battler into her mouth, running her tongue along his and lightly sucking on it. ]

[He had to pull away, he needed some kind of air here. Battler away from her lips, panting slightly- and he moved in towards her neck, kissing at the skin. It was a good thing she was still in that bathing suit of hers, he was able to kiss and lick at more of her skin now.]

[ As Battler started to move down her skin, Yuri started to become a little more aware of just how naked she felt. Wearing a bikini, even flaunting how close it was to being sexual was something she was fine with, but with Battler so close to her it suddenly seemed like it was a lot less than she's felt like she had been wearing only a few minutes ago. Yuri panted softly through her mouth and moved her hand to the back of Battler's neck now, the other resting on his hip again, lightly toying with the bottom of his shirt but not going any further than to gently run a finger across the skin just in that spot idly. ]

[Well, it's not like Battler was complaining about her choice of attire either. No no, he quite liked what she was wearing, even though he had stated that he liked her in anything. He continued to kiss along her flesh, making his way down to her collarbone, but he knew better than that, he wouldn't go any further.]

[ At the very least, there was something that Yuri would never have to worry about when they did things like this: Battler could get rough. He could bruise her skin, but she would never get the damning evidence of a hicky because of her inability to remain damaged. Battler, on the other hand... could. Yuri lightly pushed him back and pulled the top of his shirt down and to the side, revealing Battler's own collarbone. Yuri was back on her toes, leaning in to lick at the skin, then suck on it. She wanted to mark him, in a place no one could see it. It wouldn't be breaking the rules-- what happened in the cape would stay in the cape, since Battler probably wouldn't take it off, right? ]

[ The thing about hiding-- is that when there's people purposely trying to find you and noticed the direction you went in, is it's possible to be found when all that's masking you is ....nothing but a cape.

Half naked. Wet. Against a tree. Sucking skin. Obviously trying to be secretive.

Well that might be the worst thing to wander over and find. Shocked didn't even cover it. Shocking because of how scandalous they look but he probably wouldn't have minded it's not like he hasn't caught Bucky with a girl before. You just quietly back out then. Battler being there isn't even-- He obviously likes her. It's that there's someone who told him she couldn't fall for people that that's the biggest thing there.

He just turns to leave them to it. He wouldn't interrupt he's not like that-- but it's one of those god forsaken tree branches on the floor that always get people killed in horror movies when you're trying to hide? Only it's more of a 'Now they know they got caught' branch than a 'STEVE THE KILLER KNOWS YOU'RE THERE. FUCKING RUN' ]

[Battler didn't know what she was doing when she pushed him back- but he soon felt her lips going to his own skin, and he let out a gasp, allowing her to continue that action. His free hand went to her waist, and soon slide up her back- his fingers gliding across her skin.

....Oh. But then he suddenly heard that branch snap, and in an instant he had lowered that cape, and he spotted Steve. Shit.... god dammit. They were supposed to be mingling at Steve's party and well, this happened.

And yet he can't help but feel some sort of satisfaction. He feels bad, he actually does- but somewhere deep down he feels that arrogant and smug attitude come back to him. Especially when he knows that Steve has a crush on Yuri, and now he sees Battler and Yuri? ....Ah, that was a jerk thing to think about- he'll definitely have to apologize to Steve later on. But for now he's just stunned, and he wonders how Yuri will handle this. He has a feeling she'll punch him, or something.]

[ The snap of a twig had Yuri's eyes widening and she pulled back from Battler as much as possible. She didn't hit Battler, she didn't push him away. No, she stood there for a few moments feeling like a doe caught in headlights. It felt like an eternity.

Hurting someone like this... that was something Yuri hadn't done before. Telling someone they've got no chance in hell and that they should give up was easy. Telling someone that she was unreachable was easy. She'd thought it had been true. What she had told Steve was what she had wanted to be true. Now he had to know that she lied. Battler had gotten in, had gotten past everything and managed to find her in that dark corner of aloneness that she had buried herself in. She'd told him that the lock to that place was broken but had really just given the key to someone else.

For once, Yuri was at a loss of what to do. Speechless, Yuri turned her eyes away for a moment, looking down, but after a deep breath had passed her lips looked up at Steve again. She still hadn't pushed Battler away. ]

I'm sorry.

[ Battler. Battler and her were closer. He has this sudden urge to bring his fist to Battler's face but it's not really all that of a surprise he's there. Who else would she be kissing?

If could end up with anyone it'd be him. Could. Apparently she could. A simple 'But I like someone else.' would have worked instead of saying she couldn't. He's used to that one. Rejection hurt but he always got it. Nobody's ever outright lied about the reason before though. What was she even doing? She lied. And she's in that outfit. Against a tree. Hiding off to the side of a party. His party.

He inhaled a breath and clenched his jaw tight, frozen for a moment with an upset expression. Shock. Betrayal. ...Anger. He shook his head and turned around and headed back the way he came to get away from them quickly after a moment that felt far longer than it really was. ]

[Battler sighed, and he moved his hand away from Yuri. he snapped his fingers and his cape disappeared as well. It didn't go with what he had on right now anyways, but he also wanted to just get rid of it for the time being. Yeah-... he felt like he should have at least gotten punched for something like this. It was Steve's party, he should have just continued to act oblivious and not go down this route.

He glanced down at Yuri, and then he brought a hand up to his head, scratching it and trying to figure something out here.]

....He looked like he was about to hit me. I think we should let him cool off for now.

[ Steve stormed off. If she'd wanted to still be friends, this was something that their friendship might not be able to handle. She still hoped that it would, but somehow feeling that way made her feel even guiltier. Her throat tightened as she watched Steve storm off, but when Battler spoke, Yuri shook her head. ]

He may have wanted to hit you, but.. I don't think you're the one he's mad at. I told him the same thing that I told you a few hundred times.

[ It was okay to say it to Battler. Battler had been lucky that her words had been lies. Anyone else... they were nothing but careful slices into their backs while they weren't looking. ]
