Yuri you're so impossible! Definitely!

Just shut up about it already!

Of course I'm impossible! Absolutely impossible! I'm definitely never, never doing that and I've never ever thought about it before or anything like that so you shut up!

[ Tsun hard, play hard. ]

[chestboard]

So then let's go to sleep okaaaaaay?!

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri's voice lowers and she looks to the side. She's still a little embarrassed, but probably even moreso from the next admission.. ]

I don't want to go to sleep.

[ He has to leave when she wakes up. ]

[chestboard]

[.....Battler calms down, sighing a bit at her words. He reaches out to her, a hand resting on hers now.]

It'll be alright Yuri... I already said I'm not leaving just yet.

[tenminutes]

You have to leave after I wake up though, right?

[ She doesn't move her hand for a few seconds. She knows she's being selfish again. Yuri sighs after a moment, the draws her hand back and stands up so she can get back onto the bed. ]

[chestboard]

[He's laying back down already.]

.....Yeah I do but, you know I'm just a call away.

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri briefly wonders if she should just call him to say goodnight for about five minutes each night.

But that's way too corny. There's no way she could even manage that. His time is different than hers, anyway. (Lack of time? Figuring out all this timey wimey stuff is odd.) Plus, the corny factor. Battler would like it way too much if he knew she even thought about that.

...If she was going to let herself get this vulnerable with him, it would only come back to bite her in the ass, too. Given the whole situation, Yuri knew all too well that none of anything she had was going to last and that conversation with Steve she'd had...

It was better not to let herself get any more invested in this than she already was, wasn't it? It was already way too dangerous, just at this level. ]

If we go through that whole "call me" thing, you know I'm going to forget and then you'll get all mad because I said I'd call and I didn't. I'll call you if there's an emergency or something, but that's it.

[ Yuri lays down with him. Just getting swept up in their conversations tended to keep her mind off of things, but going back to sleep now... She wasn't sure how easy it would be, but she would try. She needed to calm down and act normal anyway. ]

[chestboard]

[Battler would be all over that corniness, really.]

Alright fine.... that's okay too.

[tenminutes]

[ She knows he would, that's why it's stupid embarrassing because he'd actually say yes. ]

You've got better things to do than me trying to call you with our screwed up timelines.

[ She says as she scoots against him again. ]

[chestboard]

Ah right right... the timelines, I nearly forgot.

[Settling down against the pillow again.]

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri falls quiet after that, closing her eyes.

Still, after about five minutes she pipes up with, very quickly and almost a mutter. ]

[Battler doesn't say anything back, he hears it though, but he knows it's better to stay quiet about this kind of thing. And he falls asleep after a few more moments.]
