Hey. I need someone to go clothes shopping with me. The SSS isn't around anymore, so wearing the uniform all the time isn't really working. Oh-- if you're going to worldhop over to my world, I'm not staying there anymore, so I'll come to you.

[ Those who have been to Rokkenjima might recognize the background as the study, and those who are in that world are welcome to come find her. Yuri has probably kept pretty quiet since it's weird being in someone's actual home instead of a school dorm for more than an hour or two, so whether or not they noticed her being there or not is up to you.

Overall, for basically moving into Battler's bedroom, she's pretty level-headed right now. ]

[ just as she says it, loud thunder rings out from the rain that was already falling from behind the window all this time. ]

Isn't it? We can bring a beach umbrella so you don't get wet, then invite all the other witches and Battler to join us just to confuse them. I'll wear a bikini since I can't catch a cold.

[ here for a few hours at most now and already making up wild plans.. that sure sounds like yuri, yup. ]

I don't think it'll even confuse them, honestly. .. Well, aside from onii-chan, but he's way too easily confused either way.

Maybe we can get some of them to join in then.

Let's not bother with the witches, okay, Yuri? [ Ange does look a little genuinely bothered at this. It's probably a sore spot for her, or maybe she just really does dislike the witches that much - probably both. ]

It's better if you don't talk to them too much, let alone involve them in stuff like that.

I kind of like Lambdadelta, even if she's nuts. Bernkastel's a party-pooper and I really don't like the newest one.

[entreats]

That's only one out of three then, right? [ Well, she would say Lambda is the least bad out of them too, but that's more since she has particularly bad experiences with the latter two. It's like the lesser evil. ]

I've had worse odds.

Either way, don't trust them too much. If you want to believe me on anything at all, then please at least on this.

You can't trust them. Witches basically exist to trick others. [ .. a deep breath-- ] Bernkastel.. she was the one who practically set me up to fight alongside Battler onii-chan just so that could happen to me in the end. She knew it all along.

I'm not going to trust them, don't worry. Battler warned me too.

... [ There's a pause before Yuri thinks of something. It's an important question, even if Bernkastel got what she wanted. ] Do you regret it?

[entreats]

[ Well, the answer makes her feel a little more relieved. Ange trusts the witches as far as she can throw them, after all. ]

.. No, I don't. Of course I can't predict what would have happened if I never stepped in to begin with, but.. if the same thing would have happened, nobody would have been there to bring back Battler onii-chan. Since it was a case of either me dying or Battler onii-chan losing his soul forever, I didn't even mind it for his sake.

Plus you got to see Battler again, right? I'll be the first one to say I didn't like watching you get torn up and not being able to do anything, but if I had that kind of chance to go back and save my siblings...

[ Yuri shakes her head. ]

Well, I made a wish once. The community voided it. I can't actually tell you more than that. [ Fairy Godparents have rules, okay. Da Rulez, in fact. ] But I understand wanting to do something like that and I'm glad you did even if the cost was more than you bargained for.

[entreats]

[ It's okay, at least Ange won't bother to ask more about it. ]

Of course I would've done it. If I was given the chance to redo it now, I would've done exactly the same. Even if I wasn't called to fight at Battler onii-chan's side, I would've died either way, so.. it doesn't matter. My fate was sealed either way. [ Of course some of her pessimism has to crawl into it too. ]

You say your fate was sealed, but you're here now, right?

It's not like I can tell what decided on a whim to revive me after all that. It sure didn't seem like it was a part of Bernkastel's plan, at least.

Just goes to show no matter what happens, the future isn't set in stone.

[ Which is very, very important to Yuri. ]

Yeah, but back then it was. Not necessarily because of something like 'fate' or whatever, but just because my own mind was set on it.

[ But that's a depressing topic that's already been discussed before, so.. ]

.. Not like I mind being here with you and Battler onii-chan now instead though.

We'll just have to take a sledgehammer to any stones we run into from now on.

[ Sledgehammers take a lot of strength to force down correctly and precision to aim properly, after all. This is just a more difficult sledgehammer. ]
