[ Sometimes there are difficult situations and you just need a friend. Unfortunately, Yuri rarely actually went to her friends when she had difficult situations, but this wasn't something she knew the answer to and she did have a friend who was pretty well versed in stupid time shenanigans. Maybe it wasn't the same situation (or rather, it definitely wasn't) but this wasn't something that she wanted to share with anyone else.

She didn't even know if she wanted to share it with Steve, but she was going to try. You know, by popping on over there with a fake request to go mini-golfing. ]

Wanna go see a movie with lots of explosions?

[ Steve likes movies and she likes explosions. It'll make them both feel better. ]

...Yeah. That could be good. I don't know an explosion movie playing but I'm sure we'll figure it out.

Call the movie theater then and we'll see what's listed.

They put it in the paper. [ look steve gets usa today and the times and stuff. he likes newspapers. do de do shuffle shuffle. point. ]

[ Yuri's going to sit on the couch like a normal person now instead of on the arm and puts her feet up on the coffee table while she waits, crossing one over the other. ]

Anything look good?

Maybe. What's 'In 3D' mean?

[tenminutes]

It's like.. it pops out. So it's in three dimensions like you and me. [ Gonna poke his cheek now to prove a point. ]

Oh, I see. [ he smiles for a second at the poke then it's back to thinking face. maybe none of that 3D. ]

[ She leans over his shoulder and skims the movie listings. Holy fuck that's a lot of 3-D. ]

Seems like it got a lot more popular than when I was alive too.

How would it work? Is it a ... [ what's the word for this ] Like Stark's computers? Can you touch it?

[tenminutes]

No, I think it's just an optical illusion. You have to wear these stupid glasses that give some people headaches, especially if the person should be wearing normal glasses to watch it normally.

Why would something like that be popular?

[tenminutes]

It's probably okay for people who don't need them to watch things in the dark.

[doyoufondue]

I don't even have any idea what these movies are about, why aren't there summaries on the pages? [ Since she's still looking over his shoulder. Also her glasses got on and some point when did that happen? ]

I don't know. It- [ pause. why are you wearing glasses. does she even need those? he doesn't ask ] Should we pick a random one and give it a shot or-?

[tenminutes]

[ Shush Steve she just takes them out sometimes, they make her comfortable. ] Maybe we should just stay here and watch TV.

[ comfort is good. keep your glasses then ] Alright. Do you know what to watch on that?

[tenminutes]

No, but we can just flip through the channels until we find something, right?

We could. [ let's go to get up then pause and--- no wait you don't have to get up.

look. remotes. he's handing it to yuri ]

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri looks at the remote for a minute. Every single fucking TV remote is different practically so she has to see where the buttons are. She's gonna turn it on and start flipping through some channels now. ]

What kinds of stuff do you like to watch?

I don't know. Nothing really. I haven't watched too much.

[ Sports. News. Jeopardy. ...Spongebob. ]

[ Channel up. Channel up. Up up up up up up AHHHHG YURI THROWS HER HEAD BACK AND SLUMPS DOWN ON THE COUCH, THEN HOLDS THE REMOTE OUT TO STEVE ]
