[ Sometimes there are difficult situations and you just need a friend. Unfortunately, Yuri rarely actually went to her friends when she had difficult situations, but this wasn't something she knew the answer to and she did have a friend who was pretty well versed in stupid time shenanigans. Maybe it wasn't the same situation (or rather, it definitely wasn't) but this wasn't something that she wanted to share with anyone else.

She didn't even know if she wanted to share it with Steve, but she was going to try. You know, by popping on over there with a fake request to go mini-golfing. ]

Sure. We can get you a Wii. [ She's sure he'd like the Wii more. More movement. ] I'll make you something in my world to make up for it.

Well you have to pay the money back for the credit card right? I can make you something to sell. [ It's not a present, it's a return gift!? ]

Seriously. I went to peek at my old building yesterday. It's some kind of art gallery Stark probably doesn't know he owns. They had a couple of things in their storage.

[ He gets up and gets a dusty box from the other room, pulling the mace out of it. One rusty mace. ]

Wow, it's an ancient artifact now...

Yep she just called Steve ancient. No fucks. ]

[ And quietly putting it back and putting his little box down. ]

[ Whatever, she's older than she looks too. Maybe not that old, but Steve's still alive so it's actually kind of impressive okay??

And she doesn't actually think of Steve that old. Well, older than normal. ]

We can just go in a toy store for this thing, right?

I was thinking more a game store or a department store. They probably sell them in toy stores, but toy stores are really, really loud [ and a little bit depressing to people whose little sisters and brother were killed ] and more expensive.
