...Let's go to where I sleep then.

Ready to go, not ready to poof. Oh-- I-mon is going to stick around even if we're here right? [ He's in a jar in her bag okay. Yuri starts walking. She's not really sure where she's going since she's never.. actually been to Battler's room before...

Seriously he's always in the parlor or the garden or somewhere when she comes over. ]

Oh yeah, I-mon will be fine. [he still can't believe she named that thing idiot monitor...

Anyways, he goes and grabs her hand, leading her in another direction.]

I sleep in the study now a days, there's a massive bedroom in there.

[tenminutes]

[ Whoops. Following him now! ]

Why is there a bedroom in the study anyway?

Because grandfather used to lock himself up in there sometimes and there needed to be a bed there, I guess.

[tenminutes]

We're sleeping in a smelly old man room?

I knew you would comment on that....

I've cleaned everything you know!

With magic or soap?

Aren't you the guy who told me once you didn't have to shower or wash your clothes because time didn't pass and you could just magic yourself clean in the first place?

[He sighs.]

Are you really going to be picky now? Do you want another room? I just told you I stay in the study mostly.

[tenminutes]

No, I'll still stay.

[chestboard]

Good.

[they reach the study, and he just waves his hand, the sound of it unlocking and everything, before he goes and opens the door. Of course there's just so many books in this room, a desk, and an area leading off to the bedroom. There's a bathroom located in here too, perfect.]

...Do you think my laptop would work here? Not the internet except for the community, obviously, since wifi isn't invented yet but you have electricity right? And hot and cold running water?

[ She's just thinking of these things now. It's also becoming apparent that Yuri doesn't necessarily know very much the 80's. While she speaks, she sets her stuff down in the corner of the room and goes to look around the study, pulling a book off of the shelf to see if dust comes flying out or if Battler really did clean. ]

...Of course I have electricity and properly running water.... this isn't the goddamn stone age!

[he sighs, moving to sit down in the chair in the study.]

I don't think wifi or whatever you said will work though.... not like internet is a big thing right now. You can try it though.

[tenminutes]

[ Yuri watches him, then shrugs ] I don't think it will. I'll try it later though. For now, I think I just want to get used to this place. I mean, I've been here before but it's not like I ever stayed here except when I had four paws and a tail.

That was a pretty fun time... [only not.]

Well, you're allowed to go wherever you want you know, except this place is just the entirety of the island. We can't leave just yet.

It was a rough start to something better. [ And she didn't mind playing with Battler while she was fuzzy, okay. ]

I know. It'll be my first time wandering around here without you or Ange when I do, though, which is going to be weird. I'll know when it's time to leave. [ I-mon's funeral will be necessary, after all. ] I'll stay out of the way when you have to do things like that, by the way.

Yeah, I was going to ask if you could stay out of those kinds of affairs. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but if the witches catch you during the games I know they won't be happy at all.

I wouldn't let them do anything to you but if I'm not around they might just put you in another world.

[tenminutes]

Just give me a heads up the day before so I can pack some stuff and I'll go find someone else to hang out with as long as it takes and take I-mon with me, got it?

Well, you don't really have to go to that extent but.... okay, I'll warn you and everything.

Guess I need to go tell Ange about this though.
